Devangana is a visual communication designer and educator from India, with a focus on bookmaking, illustration and narrative form. She provides design expertise in areas spanning publishing, graphic art-design and education. As an award-winning book cover designer, she collaborates with some of the world's leading publishing houses, quietly assembling her dream library—one beloved book at a time.

She is also an award-winning illustrator and children's author
of her critically-acclaimed picture book 'The Jungle Radio: Birdsongs of India’ (Penguin Random House India, 2019)
that won her the South Asia Book Award honour.​

​Devangana has worked as a Senior Designer and Art Director
at Penguin Random House India, and mentored young designers as a faculty of Visual Communication Design at Srishti-Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology. She currently runs her independent practice, and works as a design consultant for organisations worldwide.
