Devangana is a book designer, art director and educator.

She is mostly found making and hoarding books for her dream library, and has worked with leading publishing houses globally. She is also an award-winning illustrator and children's author for her picture book 'The Jungle Radio: Birdsongs of India’ (Penguin Random House India, 2019).

Her art and stories are rooted in nature, community, conservation, education, childhood and mental health. For inspiration she relies on children's picture books, folk art, the ocean, and her two cats.

She’s currently working on her independent practice,
and mentoring as a faculty at Srishti-Manipal Institute
of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore, India.
